In this tutorial I use V-Ray and 3DS Max to show you how to correctly model liquid inside glass.
Often when liquids are modelled they are created just inside the glass. This is wrong as in the real world the liquid touches the glass but it cannot touch in 3D space. So it renders as a block inside the glass.
The solution is to make the liquid just larger than the inside surface, and then refraction works correctly.
Learn advanced rendering techniques in 3DS Max with V-Ray to create realistic materials, shaders, and photorealistic product visuals. At Leon51, I specialize in architectural visualization (archviz), realistic 3D rendering, and high-quality animation workflows to help you achieve professional results.
