In this tutorial I cover how to create plastic shaders in 3DS Max and V-Ray. These are basic lessons anyone can follow, with tips on how to make clean, realistic plastic materials for your projects.
I demonstrate how to use the V-Ray TriPlanar texture to hide seams on one of the maps, and also how to add subtle V-Ray fog to plastic for more depth. These tricks will help you make your materials look more natural and professional.
