In this seventh lesson of The Mausoleum architectural visualization series, I demonstrate how to create a realistic stained glass window in 3DS Max and V-Ray. While the process is relatively straightforward, stained glass is a material that comes up often in archviz projects, and knowing how to set it up correctly makes a big difference.

I go through the steps of building the material, adding transparency, and handling color so your stained glass renders beautifully in both day and night lighting setups.

This tutorial is part of The Mausoleum workflow series, where I share my approach to modeling, texturing, lighting, and post-production in 3DS Max with V-Ray.

You can find the youtube tutorial here.

At Leon51 we specialize in architectural visualization, photorealistic rendering, and advanced material creation in 3DS Max and V-Ray.
